Job Summary

Contacts assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell company products within a designated geography or industry. Focuses on meeting personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems. Requires solid product knowledge, good general education, excellent interpersonal skills, and sales experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the firm’s core values.
  • Provides balanced education on the complex products and strategies on the AI platform in a manner designed to drive sales while remaining consistent with the conservative nature of the firm.
  • Maintains market and product knowledge required to appropriately educate advisors and clients, serving as a subject matter expert on the AI platform.
  • Assists financial advisors in educating clients on the benefits and risks associated with the various complex products and strategies through general education, product-specific education, and support on specific client cases.
  • Provides reactive strategy and product-related phone support, acting as the primary point of contact for financial advisors needing AI support.
  • Works with External Consultants, Directors, and others to identify, schedule, and conduct face‑to‑face meetings with financial advisors regarding opportunities on the Alternative Investments platform.
  • Delivers effective presentations to large audiences, including financial advisors, clients, attorneys, and certified public accountants.
  • Represents the AI platform at company and departmental conferences, recruiting visits, and client invitation‑only visits.
  • Meets specific objectives related to proactively contacting financial advisors about the products and strategies available on the Private Market and Alternatives platform.
  • Initiates, develops, and leads sales and marketing campaigns aligned with the organization’s vision and growth strategies.
  • Prepares presentations for inclusion on intranet websites and in-person delivery to financial advisors and branch management.
  • Contributes to department‑wide initiatives requiring team input, such as marketing strategies, campaigns, collateral creation, and evaluation of existing resources.
  • Organizes, manages, and executes objectives with minimal oversight, strong attention to detail, high professionalism, and timely delivery.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge Required
  • Advanced knowledge of complex products and strategies offered on the Alternative Investment platform, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Non‑Traded REITs, BDCs, Interval Funds, and concentrated equity strategies.
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape of Alternative Investment platforms of other wealth‑management firms.
  • Principles of banking and finance and securities industry operations.
  • Micro and macro‑economics and their impact on investment strategies.
  • Financial markets, products, the financial advisory function, and the investment process.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.

  • Identifying customer needs through effective questioning and listening techniques.
  • Cultivating and maintaining effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Organizing, managing, and tracking multiple detailed tasks with frequently changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Preparing and delivering clear, convincing, and professional sales presentations to small and large audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving sufficient to analyze, research, and resolve inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyzing business processes and identifying process‑improvement opportunities.
  • Operating standard office equipment and using required software to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets.
