We are representing a small tax firm in St. Petersburg that is focused on quality over quantity. They are seeking a Tax Manager who is looking to grow into a Tax Manager within the near future.

• Responsibilities:
  • Mentoring Tax Staff
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns
  • Performing federal and state tax research and tax planning
  • Reviewing/analyzing quarterly and year end projections for clients
  • Reviewing monthly client financials prepared by staff as well as preparing complex client financials
• Qualifications:
  • Accounting: 3+ (Preferred)
  • Tax
    
    Experience:
    
    3+ (Preferred)
  • Tax Accounting: 3+ (Preferred)
  • Experience Preparing (1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, 1040)
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 including Word and Excel
  • Quick Books Knowledge and Experience
  • Payroll processing
  • CPA or EA preferred
