Senior Civil Engineer (10+ Years Experience) – Land Development
📍 St. Petersburg, FL Area
A well-established civil engineering consulting firm in the St. Petersburg, FL area is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with 10+ years of experience in land development site design. This is a leadership-level role with strong growth potential, working on diverse commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects throughout the Tampa Bay region.
Responsibilities:
- Lead site development design for commercial, residential, and municipal projects
- Oversee grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design
- Prepare and review construction documents using Civil 3D
- Manage permitting and approvals with local agencies
- Serve as project manager, overseeing budgets, schedules, and client communication
- Mentor junior engineers and EITs
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of land development/site civil design experience
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with stormwater design and local permitting processes
- Proven project management and client-facing experience
