As a member of our construction design team, you will be a key driver of project success. You will interpret complex electrical design requirements and create high-quality systems while working directly with clients. This role is perfect for a technical expert who enjoys leading a team, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring that every piece of electrical documentation meets the highest industry standards.
Job Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Act as the primary lead and provide technical assistance for multiple projects across the bidding, design, permitting, and construction phases.
- Strategic Design: Coordinate the best design solutions by balancing industry knowledge with customer needs and budget requirements.
- Efficiency & Value: Conduct efficiency reviews and provide value engineering options for existing designs to maximize quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Technical Execution: Prepare detailed drawings and models using a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical design application.
- Mentorship: Provide clear design direction and support to all engineering team members.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain proactive communication with clients, consultants, project personnel, and inspecting authorities.
- Experience: 5+ years of directly related electrical design experience.
- Licensure:
Professional Engineer (PE) License is required. - Technical
Skills:
Mastery of Revit is required. Strong command of NEC, IBC, IECC
, and life safety codes. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). - Education: Knowledge of electrical equipment/installation required;
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred. - Soft Skills: Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems at both strategic and functional levels. Detail-oriented, quality-driven, and able to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to core values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.
