Two's Program Lead Teacher (Full-Time), Lealman YMCA Preschool Academy

Are you passionate about early childhood education? Ready to make a lasting impact on young learners? Join our team at the YMCA as a Two's Program Lead Teacher! We're looking for someone who's nurturing, energetic, and committed to creating a positive, safe, and enriching environment for toddlers.

• Deliver high-quality care and early education aligned with the YMCA's values:
  honesty, respect, responsibility and caring
• Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities-arts & crafts, music, storytelling, outdoor play, and more
• Support positive behavior and foster social-emotional growth
• Supervise daily routines like meals, free play, and playground time
• Build strong, positive relationships with families and conduct regular parent-teacher conferences
• Maintain accurate classroom and program records
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and family engagement events

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CDA credential or a related college degree
• Completion of DCF Introductory Child Care Training (Parts 1 &
  2)
• 6 months to 1 year of preschool teaching experience
• Able to lift up to 40lbs and actively engage with children both indoors and outdoors

Full-time, $16.00-$21.00/hour, based on experience. Health insurance & paid time off, 75% discount on preschool tuition, free before/after school care for school-age kids, household access to YMCA wellness centers, employer-paid retirement fund.
