Family Medicine without OB Physician

A local private practice in St. Petersburg, Florida is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (without OB) to join the team.

• Practice in a clinic or long-term care facility as part of a collaborative team including Family Practice and/or Internal Medicine Physicians, RN Case Managers, Nurse Practitioners and other clinic staff.
• Provide comprehensive, coordinated care to a primarily Medicare-aged population.
• Primarily manage the geriatric-aged population, in coordination with the Primary Care Physician and/or Hospitalist.
• See patients in outpatient settings depending on group needs.
• Serve as an extension of the Primary Care Physician to provide chronic and acute care to patients.

• Medical Degree from an accredited medical school and active Florida license.
• Board Certification (as required by practice setting).
• Current DEA license.
• 2 years of experience or internship experience.
• BLS and ACLS (as required for hospital setting).
