Crawford Implant & Laser Periodontics is a private, two-doctor periodontal and implant practice located in St. Petersburg, Florida. We are a busy, well-established specialty practice seeking an experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to support our growing patient base.

This position is ideal for a dental professional who values professionalism, accuracy, and teamwork, and who is willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure exceptional patient care and efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a professional and welcoming point of contact for patients, in person and by phone
  • Coordinate and schedule periodontal and implant appointments efficiently
  • Verify dental insurance benefits accurately and in a timely manner
  • Communicate insurance information, scheduling details, and next steps clearly with patients
  • Work closely with doctors and clinical team to maintain smooth patient flow
  • Maintain accurate patient records, schedules, and insurance documentation
  • Anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and support overall office operations
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years dental office experience required
  • Previous dental front office or patient coordinator experience preferred
  • Dentrix experience strongly preferred
  • Proven experience with dental insurance verification
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional, confident communication style
  • Ability to multitask and remain focused in a fast-paced specialty practice
  • Big-picture thinker with strong attention to detail and accountability
