Operations Manager
Lead High-Impact Commercial Builds from Start to Finish
Base Pay Range: $90,000 – $120,000 per year
Location: Dallas, TX (client expanding presence in Dallas market)
Our client is a well‑established, mid‑size commercial general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality projects across light industrial, big box retail, medical, and office construction. Known for operational excellence and hands‑on leadership, the company is hiring an experienced Project Manager to support continued growth.

The Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects from pre‑construction through close‑out. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client communication while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This is a fully onsite role for a hands‑on, detail‑oriented leader who thrives in a fast‑paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects, including interior renovations, tenant improvements, and ground‑up builds.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, timelines, and cost reports in alignment with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate daily with superintendents, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documentation; maintain organized project records.
- Ensure quality control, job site safety, and compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
- Monitor project costs, provide forecasting, and report status updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with accounting, procurement, and legal teams as needed to support project delivery.
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross‑functional teams simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, building codes, materials, and construction methods.
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Project Sight, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work proactively under deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred; PMP or CCM a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred (extensive commercial construction experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
