Job Title: Culinary Camp Counselor, Speer Branch YMCA (Summer 2026)
Duties- Host exciting and interactive cooking camps for young campers during a 10-week Summer Camp
- Teach basic cooking and baking skills, kitchen safety, and nutrition
- Promote proper safety, sanitation, and food-handling practices
- Collaborate on planning the culinary curriculum and assist with purchasing supplies
- Create a welcoming, energetic, and consistent camp experience for all participants
- A culinary degree is not required
- Availability for the complete 10-week Summer Camp
- Strong kitchen skills and a passion for cooking are essential
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Positive attitude, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with youth
- 10-panel drug screen
- Clear a Level 2 background check*
Pay & Perks: Part-time/seasonal, $18.00-$20.00/hour, depending on experience. Free individual YMCA membership for employee and discount for family.
