Valpak is searching for a Research Analyst to join our Research Services & Audience Solutions Group to help drive results in an agile environment.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Statistics, Quantitative Methods or other related field and minimum of two years relevant quantitative marketing research experience, preferably in direct marketing or ad sales/media environment. Knowledge of major third-party suppliers of household and syndicated data and services preferred, such as Nielsen, Claritas, PRIZM/Mosaic/Personicx segmentation, MRI-Simmons, Omniture, Google Analytics, Alchemer (or similar programs). Knowledge or familiarity with database reporting tools such as Microstrategy, Tableau, Power
BI, Tap Clicks, Domo, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, independent judgment, and ability to work under self-direction
- Detail oriented; effective at interpreting and telling stories with data
- Ability to interface with sales channels, advertisers and all levels of management
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Access, Excel and Power Point
- Flexible, with the ability to manage concurrent projects
