Senior Technical Director of Project Administration

Premier Rides is seeking a highly motivated, technically experienced, and energetic self-starter with a background in Accounting or Bookkeeping knowledge to handle fabrication/construction processes and act as a liaison between Premier Rides and the client. Candidate must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and be familiar with Microsoft Project. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience
, preferably with some experience in the attractions industry.

This position is based out of the Premier Rides St. Petersburg, Florida office. No remote.

KNOWLEDGE/

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Assertive with talent to develop long-term relationships with clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication is a must, as well as a heightened sense of urgency and passion for exceptional customer service.
  • Experienced in Mechanical and/or Electrical Systems
  • Be able to read engineering drawings and understand the technical complexities of amusement/theme park rides.
  • Excellent typing and grammar skills.
  • Possess articulate, precise phone voice and have presentation / social skills to interact with vendors, leadership and clients.
  • Strong personnel, project and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, strong written / verbal communication skills. Fluency in additional language(s) a plus.
  • Ability to sort through raw data and produce a matrix.
  • Motivated team leader with ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite. Knowledge of MS Project a plus.
  • Works well under pressure, willingness to meet tight deadlines.
  • Multi-tasker who can adjust to frequently changing priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support and manage the project administration team.
  • Establish and monitor action item lists and project schedules. Guide teams to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure continuity of workflow and accountability for task completion.
  • Work with team to issue contracts, purchase orders, and payment to vendors.
  • Oversee coordination of global and domestic shipping.
  • Maintain weekly progress reports on fabrication.
  • Issue customer invoices and payment follow up.
  • Perform cost tracking of new ride and service projects.
  • Coordinate design reviews and meetings.
  • Interface with project teams, finance team and other senior leadership.
  • Must be willing to work the hours required to complete tasks, including evenings and weekends, depending on deadlines and workload.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

A minimum education requirement of an Associate or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred. If this education is not available, the equivalent in professional experience is needed.
