St. Petersburg, FL (Hybrid – In Office Wed/Thurs)

Corporate Accounting

Superior Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team. This role is ideal for a Big 4–trained CPA-track professional who has transitioned into industry and is ready to take true ownership of month-end close areas while helping drive process improvements.

Required
  • 3–4 years Big 4 public accounting experience (audit)
  • CPA license or actively pursuing
  • Strong GAAP foundation
  • Detail-oriented with high ownership mentality
Highly Preferred
  • 1–2+ years industry experience
  • Hands-on month-end close ownership
  • SAP experience (strong plus)
  • Blackline experience (plus)
  • Experience improving processes or building efficiencies
What You’ll Do
  • Own key areas of the monthly close (fixed assets, prepaids, rebates, intercompany, commissions)
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
  • Perform variance analysis and analytics
  • Support quarterly reporting as needed
  • Drive process improvements and build efficiencies
  • Take pride in accuracy, follow-through, and quality of work
