Responsibilities
- Oversee enterprise-wide accounting operations in accordance with U.S. GAAP, SEC, and SOX standards
- Lead preparation and review of external financial filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy)
- Manage monthly and quarterly close processes, including consolidation
- Provide oversight of inventory, cost accounting, fixed assets, and manufacturing accounting
- Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors
- Implement new accounting standards and improve financial processes
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing accounting organization
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and audit experience
- Public accounting background with a focus on audit engagements
- Experience supporting audits of large, publicly traded organizations
- CPA in active, good standing
- Strong expertise in SOX compliance, SEC reporting requirements, and public-company filings
- Willingness to step into a Controller-level role with growth potential
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex accounting teams and manage multi-entity consolidations
