Responsibilities- Assist with the daily operations of the assigned store, including merchandising and supporting customers.
- Cross‑train to support the cash register and front‑end duties as needed.
- Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely in accordance with productivity standards.
- Merchandise and stock displays as required.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store: restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash, and keep all areas tidy.
- Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment, interacting professionally with customers, associates, and leaders.
- Manage sales transactions while operating assigned cash register.
- Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer‑service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
- Work lifting 30–50 lbs from floor to shoulder height; frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, repetitive lifting; reasonable accommodation available.
- Excellent customer‑service and relationship‑management skills required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills required.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills required.
- High level of integrity required.
- Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting required.
