Are you passionate about ensuring safety and creating enjoyable experiences in a dynamic outdoor setting? We're looking for a dedicated Lakeside Security & Operations Worker to join our team at 370 Lakeside Park.
Position SummaryLakeside Security & Operations Worker is responsible for maintaining the security and smooth operation of 370 Lakeside Park. This position involves enforcing park rules, providing top-notch customer service, and performing light maintenance tasks across the park's facilities, campground, and rental areas. The role requires making decisions where established policies may not exist, handling sensitive information, and maintaining a high level of physical and mental effort.

20-25 hours per week, with shifts that may vary between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Functions- Security and Rule Enforcement: Monitor the park to ensure visitor safety and enforce park and facility rules, addressing any violations or incidents.
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer service calls within the park, assist visitors, and document responses as needed. Engage positively with the public to enhance their park experience.
- Maintenance Tasks: Perform light maintenance duties, such as emptying trashcans, moving furniture, checking and resetting electrical breakers, thawing frozen pipes, cleaning and moving watercraft, setting up and taking down rented tables, chairs, traffic cones, and barricades, and conducting minor cleaning.
- Sales and Reservations Support: Assist with point-of-sale operations, manage camping and facility reservations, handle equipment rentals, and facilitate memberships within the park's enterprise operations.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze situations, develop recommendations, and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal park operations and visitor satisfaction.
- Event Support: Participate in the planning, organizing, hosting, and supervision of park programs and activities, contributing to the success of events held at 370 Lakeside Park.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.
- High school graduate or GED certificate.
- Must be able to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and carry it a reasonable distance and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License valid in the state of Missouri.
- Security License valid in St. Charles County or obtain within sixty (60) days of hire.
- First Aid and CPR/AED certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.
