Position: Primary Care RN or LPN - Mercy Clinics - St. Peters/North County

Overview

Find your calling at Mercy! Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Nurse works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Nurse will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for an attributed panel.

Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details

Mercy Clinics 65 Prime Plus

Position will support the below (2) locations:

  • 65 Prime Plus by Mercy North County – 637 Dunn Road, Hazelwood, MO 63042
  • 65 Prime Plus by Mercy Primary Care - St. Peters Salt Lick Road – 251 Salt Lick Road, St. Peters, MO 63376

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, . No nights, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Triages incoming calls/messages in collaboration with providers
  • Educates patients and follows up to ensure appropriate care
  • Assists with various clinic tasks as needed
  • Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and service standards
Qualifications

LPN Qualifications

  • Education:

    Diploma in Practical Nursing
  • Licensure:
    Active LPN license
  • Experience:

    2-3 years of experience preferred

RN Qualifications

  • Education:

    Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing, graduation from a registered nursing program, Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN), or 4 years of commensurate experience in lieu of the bachelor’s degree
  • Licensure:
    Active RN license
  • Experience:

    2-3 years of experience preferred
Highly Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR system
  • Experience working with geriatric populations
  • Timely and thorough patient triage skills
  • Computer competency (much of this position is computer-based)
  • Excellent time management and prioritization
  • Adaptability in a new and changing environment
