LPN - Emergency Department - Full Time - Days
Mercy Hospital Lincoln is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Emergency Department, full‑time (36 hrs/week) days shift. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) or a person licensed to prescribe medication. You will maintain professional accountability for patient care, coordinate care with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

- Experienced LPN sign‑on bonus up to $3,000
- Graduate Nurse sign‑on bonus up to $2,000

Education: Graduated from an accredited practical nursing program (or comparable education/experience with licensure).
Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the state where duties are performed, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
Certification(s): One or more of the following may be required or needed within a specified timeframe:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- IV Certification within 1 year of hire
- Other unit‑specific certifications as required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
