You could join our Global Supply Planning team to develop and implement our global supply strategy, or work with our Procurement Centre of Excellence team to negotiate and manage our supplier relationships. Our Manufacturing Excellence team help us improve the efficiency, quality and safety of our manufacturing operations, and our Logistics Excellence team develop new and innovative ways to distribute our products to customers.

The role of the Process Technician is to produce fill formula for the packaging operation in a safe and quality manner. The Process Technician is responsible for all steps in converting raw materials into finished product, including but not limited to bulk raw material receiving, cleaning (both in place and out of place), process monitoring, spill response cleanup, water sampling, inventory and waste treatment.

The Chemical Mixer can perform all functions of the job. The Mixing Assistant can only perform partial functions of the job.

• Monitor Machine Parameters – Process Technicians must have a deep understanding of the equipment they are responsible for. Technician maintains working knowledge of all pipelines, connections, valves, storage and location of all equipment necessary for this operation.
• Maintain Cleanliness of Process Equipment Area – Technicians maintain clean work areas, tanks, transfer lines and all other equipment, using various cleaning agents as required.
• Maintain Equipment and Batch Logs – Technicians follow Global Manufacturing Quality Manual, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Control Plans, and Work Instructions.

Escalate Equipment Malfunction - Notifies Manager of any problems with batch or equipment.

• Linear Thinking Skills – Technicians must follow detailed written methods, instructions and formula for mixing, blending and compounding specific ingredients in precise amounts for the manufacture of consumer and industrial products. Technicians distinguish between various raw materials by proper labels and physical properties.
• Analytical Skills – Technicians must have the ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions as a fully participating member of a self-managed work team.
• Observational Skills – Technicians monitor changes of temperature, pressure, visual appearance, physical changes and other significant developments which serve as an indication of process failure.
• Organizational Skills – Technicians prepare and make ready all materials for manufacturing.
• Technology Proficiency – Computer Literacy Skills (for email, automated batching, inventory systems, payroll, etc). Technicians operate Lift Truck to move/store raw materials.

Must be able to frequently stand, stoop, bend, reach overhead, walk, climb/ work from heights, and lift up to 50 pounds
