Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Every third weekend required

• Patient ratio 1:4-6 with average daily census of 16

• Required to float between Progress West and St. Peters as needed

• Float required to MS and ICU (assigned non-ICU level/lower acute patients aligned with skill level)

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• Telemetry experience required

• EPIC charting experience required

• Required certifications: NIH, ACLS, BCLS

• Unit accepts first-time travelers

• 24 hours of orientation

• Light gray/silver scrub color required

• Free parking available

• Care for adults and geriatrics including total joint replacement, neuro spine, general surgery, wounds, diabetic care, medical covid, and oral surgery patients

• Experience with post cath lab management in inpatient setting and neuro/stroke care preferred

• Must be skilled in telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, IV management, wound care, and various nursing procedures

• No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract allowed

Facility:

This short-term acute care hospital features 110 staffed beds with 31 rooms on the telemetry unit. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services. The hospital utilizes EPIC charting system and maintains modern equipment for patient care including specialized cardiac monitoring and post-procedural care capabilities.
