Position: Front Desk Associate - The Hotel Zamora

Overview

The Hotel Zamora, a beautiful boutique hotel located in St. Pete Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Front Desk Associate. With stunning views overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway and Gulf of Mexico, the Hotel Zamora provides a luxurious retreat for its guests. Our guests experience intuitive service in our Rooftop Lounge, Sidewalk Restaurant, Private Dining, and Meeting/Banquet space. The Hotel Zamora is under new ownership and management with Sherman Associates, an accomplished and proven real estate development and management company.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome each guest on arrival
  • Register and book guests, verifying reservation details, address, email address, and credit information
  • Be proficient with kiosk operations and assist as needed
  • Answer inbound calls in a professional manner
  • Maintain an intimate knowledge of hotel facilities and the local geographic area
  • Accept payment for guests  accounts at check-in and at checkout
  • Maintain a house bank, make deposits, and provide accurate daily receipts reports
  • Process all retail transactions for guests
  • Restock and ensure overall cleanliness of retail areas
  • Issue luggage claims and assist with luggage as requested
  • Ensure the overall look and feel of the hotel is clean and maintained at peak condition
  • Listen and respond to guest complaints in an efficient and professional manner
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a public contact position
  • Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet
  • As applicable, valid driver s license, reliable vehicle with insurance and safe DMV driving record
  • A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates
  • Office hours may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel
