Overview
This position is for a Transportation/Bus Driver role located in Hugo, MN. The driver will operate a school bus to pick up and drop off students and perform related transportation duties under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Drive a school bus to pick up and deliver students to and from school as assigned.
- Perform semiskilled transportation duties and related work as apparent or assigned.
- Comply with district policies and safety procedures; assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment for students.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED. - License:
School Bus license required. Must have or be able to acquire a Class B license with school bus and passenger endorsement. - Experience:
Experience working with children, reading maps, and driving a school bus preferred.
- Hours/Day: Up to 5.25 hours/day
- Start Date: ASAP
- Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.
- Days/Year: 173 days
- Salary Range/Hourly Rate: Per the Transportation Contract. $28.00/hour
