Team Dietitian; Temp​/Casual

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Sports Dietitian to work exclusively with our Men's and Women's Swim & Dive teams for a 3-month period during the spring competitive season. This position will provide specialized nutrition guidance to enhance the athletic performance, recovery, and overall well-being of our student-athletes. They will report directly to the Director of Sports Nutrition.

• Conduct initial nutrition assessments for team members
• Develop individualized nutrition plans tailored to designated sports athletes
• Provide nutrition education for pre-competition, competition day, and recovery
• Assist with hydration strategies appropriate for different training intensities and competition environments
• Host weekly office hours for one-on-one athlete consultations
• Collaborate with the Health & Performance staff to integrate nutrition protocols with training cycles

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
• Board Certification as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) preferred
• Hold a licensure in the State of Minnesota, or be able to acquire within 3 months of hire
• Experience working with collegiate or competitive track & field/cross country athletes preferred
• Strong knowledge of sports nutrition principles for endurance and power athletes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Range: $35.00; dependent on education/qualifications/experience.
