Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
Master Electrician 1st shift (Flexible Hours) $50-60/hour Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from trade school or technical school in related discipline preferred
- 4 to 6 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and automation system maintenance experience
- Certification and/or License – Master Electrician license or other location specific electrician license; master electrician preferred
Salary: $105,000 - $121,000 per year
Shift: First (7 AM - 3 PM)
Education:
High School
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, install, and repair electrical parts, equipment and systems; install or replace circuit breakers, fuses, and variable speed
- Work on electrical equipment including but not limited to Frequency Ddrives (VFDs), contractors, overload devices, fixtures, switches, receptacles, and wiring
- Safely work with multi-phase, high voltage and low voltage electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve control networks, instrumentation, PLC devices (Programmable Logic Control), HMI (Human Machine Interface), VFD, servo, and control problems
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, distribution systems, motor control centers, and motors
- Assist operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production
- Stay up to date on new products, equipment, technology and techniques
- Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, identify opportunities to improve processes
- Anticipate parts requirements for the tasks, follow proper purchasing procedures, and acquire parts ahead of anticipated task performance
- Perform and assist in all operations maintenance activities, in accordance with national, state and local electrical codes
