Job Title: Welder - Pay $27/hr - Great opportunity for Growth!

We are seeking a highly skilled welder to join our team, specializing in welding on hard steel materials using MIG, pulse style hardwire .045 welding. The role requires proficiency in ultra-sonic welding, working with heavy materials ranging from 3/8" to 4" thick. This position involves welding in a heat treat style environment, requiring individuals who can perform their own setups, layouts of fixtures, and fit-ups.

The successful candidate will eventually receive certification and training to weld all components of concrete boom trucks. All welding is X‑Rayed and certified, demanding high detail and precision.

• Perform MIG welding on hard steel materials using pulse style hardwire .045.
• Conduct ultra‑sonic welding on materials ranging from 3/8" to 4" thick.
• Complete own setups, layouts, and fit‑ups for welding tasks.
• Undergo training and certification for welding components of concrete boom trucks.
• Ensure all welding is X‑Rayed and certified to meet high standards.

• 3+ years of experience in MIG welding on heavy gauge material.
• Proficiency in pulse style MIG welding with hardwire .045.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with at least 1 year of experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Experience in structural steel fabrication.
• TIG welding skills are a plus.

Join a team of about 35 welders and fabricators, operating on the 3rd shift from Monday to Thursday, 7pm-5am, allowing for a long weekend off from Friday night to Sunday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
