Fairview is looking for a Security Dispatcher to join our team at our Midway location in St. Paul, MN. This position will also support our University of MN Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. The dispatcher is responsible for day-to-day operations of the security dispatch operations center, monitoring a large bank of CCTV surveillance cameras, prioritizing incoming phone calls, dispatching security officers, operating the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, monitoring multiple fire computers, and taking appropriate actions.

The dispatcher must be customer‑service focused and able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

• 0.2 FTE (16 hours per pay period)
• Evening shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

• Every other Saturday and Sunday at our Riverside location, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

• Monitor CCTV cameras, monitor alarms, and dispatch security officers appropriately.
• Maintain shift log of all activities during shift (CAD).
• Provide excellent customer service to callers and on-site visitors.
• Prioritize calls in order of importance and dispatch services appropriately.
• Ensure end‑of‑life procedures are followed, including coordination of removal of remains from patient care units, coordination with funeral homes, and work with pathology department or medical examiner if required; coordinate with donor services if requested.
• Maintain all paperwork.
• Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Demonstrate ability to provide care or.structure adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of the population served.

• Associate or technical degree in telecommunications or law enforcement.
• 1–3 years of dispatch or hospital security experience.

Individual pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and狠狠干 market conditions.
