Part Time Liquor Clerk (21+)

Cub Eagan East Liquor on Diffley Road is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part-time liquor position. Liquor Clerks at Cub provide courteous customer service and are responsible for the sale of liquor and cigarettes, ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations.

• Stocks liquor supplies
• Provides courteous customer service
• General cleaning of shelves and other store areas
• Knows all laws and regulations pertaining to liquor sales
• Able to handle special orders, such as kegs, and have appropriate equipment ready for pickup
• Close and secure gates at the end of the day
• Work independently

• Experience operating equipment such as scanners, registers, check approval machines, coupon machines, intercoms, and calculators
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• On-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment as direct supervision may not be immediately available
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies verbally or in writing
• Must work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 21 years of age and older
