The Risk and Safety Specialist monitors the parking lot and security cameras, documents safety and security incidents, and serves as the primary point of contact for law enforcement and emergency services. Success requires well‑developed observational skills, professionalism, composure under pressure, and a high level of integrity.

• Retail or Grocery
  
  Experience:
  
  Prior work experience in a grocery or retail setting.
• Training & Facilitation:
  Ability to create and deliver training materials on safety, de‑escalation, or emergency procedures.
• Project Coordination:
  Ability to plan and coordinate safety and loss‑prevention projects, including audits, assessments, and follow‑up actions.
• Safety Data Analysis:
  Ability to track safety trends, identify patterns, and recommend improvements.
• Multilingual:
  Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language.

This role involves standing or walking for extended periods, frequent movement throughout the store and parking lot, and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds. It requires monitoring activity on the sales floor and parking lot, responding calmly and effectively to incidents, and exchanging accurate information in person, over the phone, and via written communication. The position requires an individual to be at least 18 years old.

$21.00 – $23.00 per hour
