Responsibilities- Deliver a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, maintaining a clean store, and actively assisting customers with product selection.
- Follow all company best‑practice standards and maintain high standards for merchandise presentation.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, and replenishing restroom supplies.
- Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, voids, and offline procedures with accuracy and integrity.
- Assist with inventory and daily sizing and recovery, ensuring a neat and organized store.
- Practice safe behaviors and maintain a safe, clutter‑free sales floor.
- Treat all customers and associates with respect and professionalism.
- Assist customers at the register, provide product knowledge, and answer questions politely and efficiently.
- Respond to customer service calls immediately and call leadership when needed.
- Represent and support the company brand at all times.
- Understand the Loss Prevention Awareness program, Shortage Highway, and merchandise protection standards.
- Follow Mark‑Out‑of‑Stock (MOS) policies and cash handling procedures.

- Effectively communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative manner.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
- Use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs.
- Stand, walk, and move around the store for 100% of working time.
- Regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
- Stockroom shifts: push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds.

CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $17.00–$17.50 per hour. The range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
