Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool and make a difference for our patients and our community.

Float Pool RNs will work on a variety of inpatient clinical units:

• Med/Surg RN’s will care for patients in orthopedics, rehabilitation, oncology, cardiology, observation, medicine, neurology, surgical, trauma, burn, and postpartum.
• Progressive RN’s will care for progressive patients in cardiac, medicine, burn, trauma, neurology, and surgical.

Our Professional Nursing Practice Model offers patient and family-centered care that maintains an unwavering focus on what matters most: caring and healing at the patient’s bedside. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice.

Regions Hospital supports nurses with an individualized orientation including Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support learning, role transition, and retention of nurses. All new hire registered nurses at Regions Hospital will be automatically enrolled. Our award-winning programs give our patients and their families a place of comfort and healing. 0.70 FTE. Night shifts. Mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts. Every 3rd weekend rotation.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or Associate Degree in Nursing and 1 year of RN experience.
• Internal new graduate applicants can meet minimum requirements with an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota.
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers.
• Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and strong ability to work with a wide range of patients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire.
• One year of acute care RN experience is preferred.
