Moonlighting Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview

Fairview is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to moonlight at Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital, a new 144-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. This is a moonlighting opportunity to provide support for acute inpatient psychiatric services for adults. The nurse practitioner will be required to come onsite to deliver care.

Practice Details:

* Setting:
Inpatient

* Schedule:

Flexible

* Minimum commitment: 2-3 shifts per month

* Compensation: $85/hour

* Admission support and crisis intervention

* Psychotropic medication initiation and adjustments

* Cross-coverage of existing inpatients

* Collaboration with onsite nursing leadership

* Structured handoff to attending providers

Onboarding & Support:

* Access to EHR training in Well Sky

* Behavioral health team orientation

* Supportive credentialing timeline and structured reporting

* Ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams

Qualifications:

* Master of Science Nursing Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing

* Previous experience in the care of inpatient psychiatric and addict patients as an advanced practice provider

* MN Registered Nurse (RN) License

* Board Certified ABMS or AOA

* Family Nurse Practitioner-ANCC

Compensation Disclaimer

The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills,knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Positions withthe same min/max are flat rate jobs based on 40 hours/week. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
