We are currently hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Adult Inpatient Unit. This is a 0.6 FTE, 12‑hour shift weekend position, rotating Day (0700AM‑7:30 PM) and Night (7:00PM‑07:30AM) schedule. Candidate will be expected to float to Pediatric units. Experience caring for medically complex patients preferred. Benefit Eligible!

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll provide high‑quality, family‑centered nursing care that supports optimal patient outcomes. You’ll conduct thorough assessments, create individualized and evidence‑based care plans, implement interventions, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team. You’ll practice autonomously, using sound judgment and incorporating evidence‑based improvements into daily work while supervising and delegating appropriately. An RN position in the Inpatient Adult Unit at Gillette Children’s involves providing specialized care to teens and adults (age 18 through age 40) with conditions that originated in childhood and require lifelong management. Nurses in this unit deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care, working with a multidisciplinary team to address the unique medical and developmental needs of these individuals. The RN plays a critical role in managing complex, chronic conditions, supporting patients and families, and ensuring continuity of care as patients transition from pediatric to adult‑focused healthcare.

This position requires strong clinical expertise, collaboration, and a deep commitment to long‑term patient care.

Compensation & Benefits Information

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $41.22‑$70.45. Pay is dependent on several factors including number of hours worked within the field, education, and certification/licensure: $1.75 weekend / $2.35 evening / $4.00 night differential is available for this position. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees. Qualifications

Required

• Documentation of completion of professional nursing program (RN program)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through the MN Board of Nursing
