Coordinates and provides family‑centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. THIS IS AN MNA CONTRACT POSITION.
Education Requirements- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Minnesota RN licensure.
- Current BLS certification.
- One (1) year experience (within the last 2 years) working with a specialized patient population (e.g., Neurosciences, inpatient psychiatry). Pediatric experience preferred.
- An informational meeting with the Patient Care Manager is required prior to awarding the position.
- Based on the unit in which you are applying, additional certification(s) may be required. Department‑specific qualifications must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
- Current Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification required or to be obtained during orientation.
The posted salary represents a market‑competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on‑call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
