At McGough, we're building more than projects - we're building partnerships, opportunities, and communities. Behind every project win is a strategic pursuit process supported by a dedicated Marketing team. We're looking for a Marketing Intern to support our Pursuits and Business Development efforts and gain hands-on experience contributing to the work that helps us win projects.

This internship offers real exposure to how large construction pursuits are developed, assembled, and delivered. You'll work behind the scenes with our Marketing team to help bring proposals and interviews together, maintain key systems, and support the tools that power our pursuit efforts.

The McGough Internship Program provides meaningful, real-world experience within a collaborative and professional environment. As a Marketing Intern supporting Pursuits and Business Development, you will:

* Gain exposure to how marketing directly supports revenue generation in the construction industry

* Contribute to proposals and interviews that compete for and win work

* Build hands-on experience with industry tools including InDesign, PowerPoint, CRM platforms, and Digital Asset Management systems

* Work alongside experienced marketing professionals who will provide mentorship and guidance

* This is not a sit-on-the-sidelines internship. Your work will contribute to active pursuits and real project opportunities.

What You'll Do:

* Assisting with proposal formatting and assembly in InDesign, Word, and Power Point

* Supporting interview preparation, including slide deck updates and materials coordination

* Printing, binding, and organizing proposal and interview materials

* Uploading, organizing, and maintaining marketing assets within our Digital Asset Management system (Open Asset)

* Supporting CRM data entry and cleanup to ensure accurate opportunity tracking

* Assisting with market and project research to support Business Development efforts

* Helping maintain consistency, accuracy, and organization across marketing materials and systems

* Providing general support to the Marketing team as needs shift and priorities evolve

* You'll contribute to deadline-driven work while operating within a structured, team-supported environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

* A junior or senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

* Comfortable working within templates and established brand standards

* Organized and able to manage multiple assignments at once

* Basic working knowledge of Adobe InDesign (experience in PowerPoint and Word required)

* Interest in learning how marketing supports business development and strategic pursuits

* Proactive, dependable, and eager to learn in a team-oriented environment
