We are seeking an experienced Expeditor to support refinery operations within the oil and gas industry. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services to meet operational and project deadlines. The Expeditor will work closely with procurement, suppliers, maintenance, and operations teams to prevent delays and support turnaround activities (TAR).
Key Responsibilities- Expedite purchase orders from issuance through final delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed delivery schedules.
- Track fabrication progress, inspections, and shipping milestones.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential delays impacting refinery operations or TAR schedules.
- Coordinate with maintenance, procurement, and operations teams to prioritize critical materials.
- Maintain accurate status updates within SAP and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Support Turnaround (TAR) activities scheduled for September (no overtime anticipated).
- Previous refinery experience in the oil & gas industry.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP.
- Experience expediting materials in an industrial or plant environment.
- Strong communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
