Pattern Maker
As a Pattern Maker, you will have the opportunity to learn from others in the shop while engaging in both individual and team projects. You will operate various equipment and hand tools to design, build, and maintain tooling for foundry castings. You'll be expected to learn numerous operational processes and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in your area and the foundry.
Responsibilities- Operate various pieces of machinery and equipment along with hand tools.
- Design, build, and maintain tooling.
- Read blueprints to produce precision tooling.
- Work with foam, wood, and urethane to create prototypes or single-use castings.
- Provide support to the foundry through understanding of the foundry process.
- Follow processes and standard work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in foundry operations.
- Proficiency with drill press, manual machines, lathe, grinder, and manual mill.
- Knowledge of production and heat treating.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong work record in safety, quality, and dependability.
- Good team player with effective communication across functional departments.
- Strong mechanical comprehension and knowledge of hand tools.
- Organized and capable of working well under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $76960.00/yr.
