Plasma Operator
We are seeking dedicated Plasma Operators to operate plasma tables designed for cutting large sheets of metal. These sheets are integral to the fabrication of industrial tanks used to house grains, oils, and similar materials. In addition to operating the plasma table, the role involves assisting in various shop tasks, such as grinding and operating a sit-down forklift, as needed.
Responsibilities- Operate plasma tables to cut large metal sheets.
- Assist in other shop areas when not operating the plasma table.
- Perform grinding tasks as required.
- Operate a sit-down forklift for material handling.
- Experience in machine operation and fabrication.
- Proficiency in plasma cutting and operating laser cutters and plasma tables.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge in the use of tools such as burn tables, mills, press brakes, lathes, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Skill in using tape measures and conducting sheet metal fabrication.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CNC operations.
- Forklift operation certification.
- Skills in metal finishing and polishing.

Work EnvironmentWork a consistent 1st shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, with potential overtime available. Embrace a collaborative and supportive environment where teamwork is emphasized.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
