Responsible for day-to-day support and implementation of process improvements of the production machines assigned. Assist internal and external customers with issues related to how we process our products.
Major Areas of Accountability- Determine process and/or system failures, and implement permanent corrective action
- Assist Manufacturing with all process issues
- Maintain FMEAs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions for assigned machines
- Maintain timings for assigned Work Centers and distribute information to Pre-Production
- Coordinate activities with Product/Application Engineers to establish routing standards for products; assist Pre-Production with any updates to the standards
- Oversee assigned ECOs to ensure that they are completed
- Recommend and implement improvements to safety, quality and efficiency in assigned areas
- Coordinate activities with vendors to understand their products and services, and resolve any issues due to non-conforming and/or failed processes
- Responsible for the assigned activities related to the development of new processes, researching current and emerging technologies, evaluating process timings, quality, and capability alternatives
- Perform other duties and tasks as apparent or assigned
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
- Proven results‑oriented engineering experience in manufacturing
- Experience with quality systems and continuous improvement
- Excellent people, communication and problem‑solving skills
- Degree in an Engineering field
- Experience with printing and converting equipment
- Experience in a job‑shop based printing, converting or manufacturing business.
- Experience with adhesive coatings
- Experience in project management
Starting annual salary for this role is $68,000- $78,000 commensurate with experience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, Accident and Critical Illness Insurance, Pet Insurance, Generous PTO policy, 401(k) with match, Profit Sharing.
