Manages multiple facets of facility operations including general operations, logistics, safety, environmental, capital planning projects, maintenance, and customer support. Duties will typically span more than one facility or region.
Essential Job Functions:
Manage the planning and direction of facility operations to attain optimal utilization of machinery, materials, and labor to achieve maximum capacity, yields, and overall cost reduction.Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations regarding occupational health and safety.Ensure daily operations meet all standards and operational schedules.Motivate the team to improve quality, safety, and cost performance.Communicate and implement the organization’s EHS Management System and its requirements to employees, visitors, and contractors.Supervise individuals including supervisors, employees, contractors, and other personnel to ensure they receive necessary EHS-related training.Develop processes for incident/illness prevention and health and safety programs.Develop risk assessment procedures.Ensure that EHS Management System objectives and needs for units/departments are met.Integrate EHS requirements into job descriptions and communicate expectations to employees.(Engineering) Assess health and safety impacts of new processes and equipment, implementing controls as needed.(Procurement/Contractor) Include EHS performance in supplier and contractor evaluations.Maintain and improve occupational health, hazardous materials management, radiation safety, general safety, incident/fire prevention, and biological safety programs.Conduct periodic health and safety audits of work areas and facilities.Maintain and improve emergency action and disaster preparedness plans, defining roles and responsibilities to ensure coordination.Demonstrate regular attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks.Other Job Functions:

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:
- Ability to work well with others.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of field-related experience.
- At least 3 years of management experience.
Special Demands:
- Frequent lifting/carrying of 20 lbs., bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods, etc.
