The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area providing essential services to our region: transportation, wastewater collection and treatment, growth and development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.
The Information Services (IS) department, with 140 members, provides IT support to all Council divisions.
The Deputy Chief Information Officer of Technology Operations is a strategic executive leader who will provide guidance and leadership across the infrastructure, operations, and service management pillars for our IS department. She/He will assist the CIO on aligning operational capabilities with organizational goals and long‑term digital strategies. This executive role leads the planning, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the Council’s enterprise technology foundation, encompassing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, systems engineering, endpoint and SCADA support, and enterprise service management.
Qualifications
- High School/GED and fourteen (14) years of experience, including five (5) years in a management role.
- Associate's degree and twelve (12) years of experience, including five (5) years in a management role.
- Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience, including five (5) years in a management role.
- Master's degree and eight (8) years of experience, including five (5) years in a management role.
Salary Range: $ – $ Annually
