Overview
The City of Saint Paul Public Works Department is hiring an individual to perform basic cleaning and custodial work in an assigned area.
Responsibilities- Clean building floors, office areas, seating areas, and hallways by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming.
- Dust rooms, hallways, and office furniture.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and drinking fountains.
- Gather and empty wastebaskets.
- Lock and unlock doors.
- Report needed repairs to supervisor.
- Lift equipment, tools, and supplies of up to 50 pounds.
- Positions in some department may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
