Trissential is hiring a QA Lead to join our client’s team and deliver excellence across large‑scale, enterprise‑wide initiatives. - Serve as the Program QA Lead for multiple large‑scale enterprise initiatives
- Develop and implement QA strategies, standards, and test frameworks
- Provide hands‑on leadership, including test plan creation, test case development, and defect management
- Direct and mentor QA Analysts while supporting active testing across work streams
- Oversee and validate vendor‑led testing, ensuring alignment with program requirements
- Build and manage QA schedules, dependency maps, and risk mitigation plans
- Perform manual, functional, regression, and integration testing across interconnected platforms
- Support configuration management, release control, and full traceability throughout the QA lifecycle
- Define and track QA metrics such as coverage, defect density, and exit criteria
- Partner with business analysts, program managers, developers, and vendors to resolve defects and align priorities
- Provide QA governance across all project phases and ensure adherence to enterprise methodologies
- Mentor cross‑functional partners in QA practices to promote consistent quality across initiatives
- 10+ years in software QA or testing roles
- 5+ years leading QA efforts on programs or large‑scale projects
- Experience with cloud‑based SaaS implementations
- Background working in multi‑vendor or multi‑system integration environments
- Experience performing both manual and automation testing
- Proven ability to develop QA strategies, test plans, test cases, and quality metrics
- Working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, or HP ALM
- Experience applying QA methodologies in Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall environments
- Ability to work onsite in St. Paul at least one day per week
- Experience working within government or regulated industries implementing mission‑critical systems
- Experience with mass transit technology solutions, including fare collection, asset management, or operational analytics
- Prior experience in public sector, utilities, or transportation organizations
- Familiarity with test data management, performance testing, and vendor validation processes
- Working knowledge of automation frameworks or testing tools (even if not fully deployed)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
- Advanced degree or certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline
- Professional QA, project management, or Agile certifications are a plus
- Competitive Compensation – You choose the model that works best for you, both with company‑sponsored benefits! $115,000–$123,000 annually or $72–$77 per hour. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market‑based rates by geography.
