Description
Overview:
The EUC Hardware Lab Manager is responsible for overseeing the physical and remote operations of the End User Compute hardware lab. This role ensures the lab environment is optimized for hardware testing, automation, and remote support, enabling smooth delivery of software and hardware solutions across the enterprise.
- Lab Management & Connectivity:
Maintain and manage the physical lab environment, ensuring all systems, devices, and connectivity are operational. - Oversee hardware inventory and ensure accurate tracking of all assets.
- Manage remote connectivity solutions (e.g., KVM) to support distributed teams.
- Automation & Testing:
Design, install, and operate automation tools and processes for hardware validation. - Execute performance benchmarking (e.g., PCMark) during hardware model changes.
- Assess system impact of major software changes through synthetic user transactions and long‑term stress testing.
- Inventory &
Collaboration:
Maintain accurate inventory of lab assets and coordinate with L4 SMEs on hardware quantities, connectivity, and lab requirements. - Support for Remote Teams:
Provide technical support to remote application packagers and software delivery teams. - Ensure system uptime and stability through proactive maintenance and automation for device refresh with clean images.
- Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
- Environment Maintenance:
Maintain a tidy, organized, and professional lab environment that meets operational and safety standards. - Hardware and Software issue support:
Assist L3/4 teams to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software level issues.
Hardware, Help desk, Troubleshooting, Technical support, Windows 10, Customer service, Active directory, Configuration, Manual testing, Wireless.
AdditionalSkills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of EUC hardware platforms and remote connectivity technologies (e.g., KVM, remote power, headless device mgmt., etc.).
- Experience with automation tools and performance benchmarking software with focus on long‑term synthetic usage testing (e.g., PCMark).
- Practical knowledge of imaging processes and enterprise software deployment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and SMEs.
- Scripting or automation experience (Power Shell, Python, Yaml).
- Understanding stress testing methodologies and synthetic transaction modeling.
- Prior experience managing hardware labs or similar technical environments.

Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
