Job Description & How to Apply Below
We’re seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead a digital initiative in an innovation/early incubation stage—where the problem space, scope, and delivery approach are still evolving. This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, rapidly absorbs complex context, and proactively creates clarity across cross‑functional partners.
You’ll help stand up and guide a cross‑functional pod, surface gaps, define what “next” looks like, and drive the initiative from concept through MVP and release.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)- Lead end‑to‑end program execution in a high‑ambiguity, early‑stage product and decision framework.
- Form and guide a cross‑functional pod (product, engineering, design, pricing/commercial, marketing, go‑to‑market, analytics, support).
- Drive alignment on scope, priorities, sequencing, and tradeoffs; make progress visible and measurable.
- Identify critical gaps (e.g., MVP definition, customer value proposition, pricing/packaging approach, customer messaging, launch readiness) and take ownership to close them.
- Partner with product and engineering to translate concept → requirements → MVP → release, balancing technical feasibility and customer value.
- Manage release readiness across engineering, quality, security/compliance (as applicable), operations, and GTM stakeholders.
- Surface risks early, propose mitigations, and navigate constraints with sound judgment and urgency.
- Communicate clearly and directly with senior stakeholders; recommend decisions, not just options.
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management (or closely related)
- Demonstrated success operating in ambiguity—creating structure, clarity, and momentum where none exists.
- Experience leading cross‑functional programs spanning product + engineering + business stakeholders.
- Proven track record taking a digital product through MVP and release (enterprise, B2B/B2C, SaaS, platform, mobile/web—any is fine).
- Strong technical fluency: ability to understand architectures, APIs, data flows, non‑functional requirements, and engineering constraints.
- Strong commercial/product mindset: ability to connect customer value to adoption, packaging, and measurable outcomes (even if you’re not the pricing owner).
- Excellent stakeholder management and “influencing without authority” skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting tradeoffs and recommendations to leaders.
- Experience using modern delivery tooling (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or equivalent) for tracking and execution.
- Experience enabling or integrating AI/ML capabilities into digital products.
- Experience with subscription models, usage‑based models, or monetized digital.
- Experience defining early go‑to‑market inputs (positioning, MVP packaging, launch readiness).
- Background in regulated or complex domains (e.g., healthcare, finance, logistics, hospitality, public sector).
- Experience working with distributed/hybrid teams across multiple time zones.
