Sr. Technical BA

Job Description

One of Insight Global's largest Chemical Services clients is seeking a Technical Business Analyst (BA) with strong analytical skills, technical fluency, and a user‑centered mindset. This role supports a homegrown iOS application used by field technicians—capturing service data, interacting with connected devices (Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth traps), and enabling operational efficiency.

You’ll work closely with UX designers, developers, and business stakeholders to define features, write requirements using Business‑Driven Development (BDD), and lead initiatives from concept through delivery. This is a high‑impact role requiring autonomy, collaboration, and a strong understanding of data flows and APIs.

• Experience Level: 8–10 years as a Business Analyst
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data
• Knowledge of how API's are built and work
• Experience with iOS, Android, and mobile software
• Consumer/User centric experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Exposure to connected devices (e.g., Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi traps) and IoT ecosystems
• Prior involvement in governance, prioritization, or strategic portfolio management
• Familiarity with user acceptance testing (UAT) processes, even if not directly responsible
