Business Information Developer Consultant Senior
This role requires associates to be in‑office 1‑2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work‑life balance. The Business Information Developer Consultant Senior will serve as an expert, supporting Carelon Payment Integrity in the development and execution of data mining analyses. The Senior Consultant will lead the onshore/offshore development team of engineers and Dev Ops to produce scalable product solutions.

How You Will Make An Impact- Undertake complex assignments requiring specialized technical knowledge.
- Develop complex and varied strategic report applications from a Data Warehouse.
- Establish and communicate common goals and direction for the team.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
- Act as a source of direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff.
- Monitor project schedules and costs for own and other projects.
- Develop and support complex Data Warehouse‑related applications, designing and implementing database tables for business areas.
- Conduct training on use of applications developed.
- Focus on programming and designing solutions.
Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 6 years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experiences- Expert level of medical claims analysis (professional, facility, RX, dental, vision, transportation) and data modeling.
- Ability to write and/or review Python code to develop and debug complex software solutions.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP/ADP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with data warehouse technologies including Snowflake, Edward, ODW, GBD Facets, and other sources.
- Experience using Java, Angular
JS, Micro UIs, and Microservices architecture. - Experience with Git, Git Hub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Project management and product ownership experience driving release management, issue resolution, and solutions in an Agile environment.
- Effective communication with multiple levels of the organization, including data story interpretation and presentations with resource training.
- Experience working with offshore teams to develop high‑availability and scalable systems.
- Experience supporting AI adoption initiatives within an organization.
Salary range: $123,984 to $203,688.
