Consulting Technical Manager, Public Sector Record to Report Functional Lead
As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position:
- Provides consistent and innovative solution leadership to a project team.
- Owns the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s), ensuring highly performant, coordinated software solutions within time and budget constraints.
- Leads and analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry standard processes, product knowledge, and discernment
- Exercises judgment and business insight in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very sophisticated aspects of applications and technology installations.
- Provides direction and mentoring to project teams and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions.
- Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions.
- Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise.
- Resolves sophisticated customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions.
- Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
- Experience with the Oracle product set.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience relevant to this position including 10+ years of functional consulting experience.
- Prior team leadership or management experience preferred.
- Business process experience in the following areas:
- Oracle Cloud: 4-5 years of experience in budgetary controls and encumbrance accounting.
- 10-15 years/solid across General Ledger, Fusion Accounting Hub, and Subledger Accounting g.
- Ability to lead design workshops across multiple process areas including enterprise structure and chart of accounts design.
- Holds BS in Accounting or related field OR equivalent experience.
- CPA is a plus.
- Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30%, when required.

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
