As a Event Technology Implementation Lead, you’ll be the bridge between client strategy and technical execution, not only leading complex client projects but also driving the design and implementation of our holistic client service. What You’ll DoAs the technical lead for large‑scale event technology projects, you’ll ensure seamless execution by turning vision into actionable plans and guiding clients, internal teams, and vendors through design and implementation. In addition, you’ll apply the same expertise internally, leading projects that define, build, and optimize our division’s service offerings.
Client Leadership & Strategy- Act as the primary client point of contact, translating goals into technical plans and guiding stakeholders through every phase.
- Lead technical strategy for enterprise‑level event programs, integrating AI‑driven solutions and advanced event technology platforms.
- Define technical requirements by capturing system needs, documenting integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Workday), and addressing infrastructure gaps.
- Own end‑to‑end planning and execution for 6–24 month client engagements.
- Develop detailed project timelines, track milestones, and manage budgets to deliver on time and within scope.
- Direct and coordinate cross‑functional teams of technology managers, builders, and developers.
- Facilitate collaboration between engineering, data, and client teams for cohesive delivery.
- Identify opportunities to enhance event platforms with emerging AI technologies.
- Lead internal service development projects, applying the same rigor and methodology to build scalable solutions for our division’s offerings.
- Maintain organized project data, track action items, and mitigate risks using SCRUM/agile methodologies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve roadblocks, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
- Provide ongoing technical consultation and recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish best practices and frameworks for internal service delivery, ensuring operational excellence across both client and internal initiatives.
- 8+ years in event technology implementation and management, ideally within Strategic Meetings Management programs for enterprise accounts.
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience with platform configuration, customization, and integration, including spend management features (meeting request forms, policy triggers, budgeting).
- Proven success leading complex, enterprise‑level projects as the client‑facing lead.
- Comfort with AI integration and layering solutions across multiple technology platforms.
