Ticketing Analytics Director - $90(K) - $130(K) Annually

The Ticketing Analytics Director leads the strategy and execution of data-driven decision-making across pricing, demand forecasting, and resource planning. This role works closely with senior leadership to deliver clear, actionable insights that improve revenue performance and operational efficiency. By streamlining data systems, building useful tools, and supporting teams across the organization, this position plays a key role in optimizing ticketing outcomes and staying ahead in a competitive market.

Responsibilities/Essential

Functions
  • Lead organizational data strategy by overseeing the analysis of key business areas such as demand forecasting, pricing, and resource planning using tools like SQL, R, Python, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Oversee the creation and governance of enterprise dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
  • Advise senior stakeholders through data-driven analysis of sales trends, fan segmentation, and market benchmarking to support strategic planning and performance optimization.
  • Direct the integration and maintenance of business intelligence systems, ensuring seamless data flow between platforms like Ticketmaster and internal data infrastructure.
  • Define and standardize documentation of business intelligence processes, ensuring consistency, transparency, and scalability.
  • Lead training programs and user support initiatives to maximize adoption and effective use of the organization's business intelligence tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements Formal Education & Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Tableau Analyst or Microsoft Power BI certification preferred.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Eight to ten years of progressive experience in Ticketing, Operations, or Data Analytics, with a strong preference for experience in the sports or entertainment industry.
  • Four to five years of experience leading or conducting in-depth analysis of event data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools including SQL, Excel, Tableau, and either Python or R.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in operational efficiency, revenue optimization, cost modeling, resource management, and demand forecasting.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and complex digital ecosystems, with knowledge of available data collection metrics.
  • Experience with Ticketmaster, Archtics, KORE, ticket sales platforms, pricing analytics tools, and dynamic pricing systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with a high level of detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with modeling techniques such as regression analysis, A/B testing, and statistical significance testing.
  • Background in consulting or project management is a plus.
  • Portfolio of relevant work demonstrating experience listed above.
