Job Summary

** The Minnesota Department of Transportation does not sponsor applicants for work visas or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment.

This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office.

The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor.

The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.

The position will perform confidential and professional work related to Human Capital Analytics and HR Projects, including development, coordination, and implementation of current and future Human Resource data reports, dashboards, and data visualization systems and applications. The position will provide professional input into the creation, customer support, and updating of new Human Resource-related systems and applications.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

Two years of professional experience that demonstrates the following:

  • Experience researching, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Experience with business analytics tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, or other data analysis or related tools);
  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 application suite of products, including Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Human Resource functions such as HR data elements and data structures.
