Overview

Provides pharmacy services to the patient, physician and hospital staff. Assures the timely and accurate filling of prescriptions and orders. Provides information and/or consultation to the patient and other health care professionals in the correct use of those medications and supplies.

  Ability to identify issues, obtain relevant information, relate and compare data from different sources, and identify alternative solutions.
• Data Management:
  Ability to analyze data to interpret and evaluate results, and create reports and/or presentations. Knowledge of appropriate data collection policy and procedures, filing systems, data management systems and programs.
• Interpersonal Communication:
  Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co-workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection.

  Provides patient educational information appropriate to the developmental level, learning needs, readiness, cultural values, and beliefs of patients and families.

  Demonstrates practices that support safety with recognition of variations in populations served, preventing harm to patients, families, employees, and themselves.

  Demonstrates behavior consistent with the standards, scope of practice, ethics, and characteristics of a licensed professional.

• Bachelor of Arts in Pharmacy
• 1 year experience
• License Pharmacist
  
  Qualification:
  
  MN Board of Pharmacy

• Doctorate of Pharmacy
• ASHP accredited residency or equivalent experience in hospital pharmacy
• 1 year 1 to 3 years
• Board certification in specialty area (e.g., BCPS)
• BCCCP:
  Board of Pharmacy Specialties

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual s pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
